Kamae, the leader's stance. Centred presence in one breath, before the meeting even starts.

Read the opening of Dojo Design Dynamics: the Unseen Dojo, and Chapter 1, Kamae, the stance that is also a way of being. It comes with a full team practice you can run this week. No Aikido experience, no theory, just the stance and how to carry it into any room.

What's in the kit

The stance

How to arrive stable without going rigid, firm without turning brittle, centred before a word is said.

The first ten seconds

Why how you begin a meeting shapes all of it, and "feet, breath, sentence," the reset that returns you to centre in one breath.

The Card Flip, included

A short team game to rehearse clear decisions under pressure. Run it Monday.

Testimonial

"I'm not a martial artist myself, but the philosophy felt immediately relevant. Practical without being simplistic. Grounded, memorable, and easy to apply in a business context."

Janet Frizzarin

Learning Innovation & Development Manager Royal College of Physicians of Ireland
